Qualifications :

The following are some of the qualifications that I have assembled over the past thirty five plus years as a public servant.

    •  Thirty-five years plus experience in emergency public service.
    • Ability to supervise employees in a rank-structured organization.
    • Experience in developing and operating budgets.
    • Working knowledge with business accounting and managing multiple accounts and investing. 
    • Experience in working with the Jefferson County Commission on budget requests for all County volunteer fire departments. 
    • Experience in working with the Jefferson County Commission on legislative matters.
    • Experience in developing personnel guidelines, policies, rules and regulations.
    • Police Civil Service Commission experience.
    • Experience in large scale emergency command situations that included the coordination of local, state and federal agencies.    
    • Re-wrote (updated) Frederick County Virginia’s Emergency Operations Plan.
